Why did we choose Yosemite for our wedding? It’s simple. Yosemite was one of the first places we vacationed together, and it’s where Jacob proposed—making it our ultimate love story backdrop. The venue offers a unique experience, allowing all our guests to stay on property and enjoy every event in one magical location. It feels like a Summer Camp for Adults, and we can’t wait to delve into a weekend full of joy with our closest friends and family.

We’re keeping it elevated but comfortable—no tuxedos or ball gowns required. Think of what you’d wear to a nice brunch or garden party, with the option to add a little Western flair. Just remember to bring a layer for the cooler mountain evenings.

Dining

One of the things we love about Evergreen Lodge is how easy it is to relax—everything you need is right on property. The lodge has a full restaurant and tavern serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus a small general store where you can pick up snacks, drinks, and essentials to keep in your cabin.

Here’s what to expect for meals during the wedding weekend:

Friday Night: We recommend the casual Poolside BBQ—a great way to kick off the weekend.
Saturday Night (Wedding Dinner): Hosted by us! Join us after the ceremony for dinner and dancing under the stars.
Sunday Morning: Breakfast on us! Stop by anytime between 8:30–10:30am for a casual farewell breakfast. Sit and stay awhile to hang out, or just grab a quick bite before hitting the road.
